Thomas Belliston is a certified personal trainer, and fitness enthusiast, with over a decade of lessons learned from fitness and athletics. From gymnastics, to CrossFit, to body building and calisthenics, he has made it a goal to experience as many forms of fitness as possible.
Born and raised in Logan, Utah, Thomas now works, lives, and trains in Houston, Texas with his wife Victoria, and son JJ.
As a child he trained and competed in gymnastics which is where his enthusiasm for fitness and athletics was born. Gymnastics taught him how important the mind was in producing correct physical functions and demands, and how intertwined mental and physical fitness truly are.
Using the skills learned in gymnastics as a foundation, he pursued many avenues of fitness, believing that the only way to become as physically and mentally fit as you can, is to personally experience as many facets of fitness as possible.
He began training in CrossFit, bringing the skills from gymnastics and applying them to the WODs. CrossFit taught him the importance of implementing both cardio and weights in creative and various ways to produce the best physical version of yourself.
Having a desire to become bigger and stronger, he began researching bodybuilding. Being an ectomorph, gaining weight had always been difficult, and bodybuilding was where he first learned about counting macros and the critical importance that diet plays in performance.
Once he started college, he tried out for and made the cheer squad as the mascot of Utah State University, Big Blue. He made friends on the squad who were competitive power lifters, who taught him the techniques of training for strength and power. Powerlifting taught him the importance of form, breath control, and properly controlling and building an effective workout program.

He is obsessed with NBA basketball (go Lakers!!), watching as many games as possible, following players’ and teams’ stats, and going to as many games as he can fit into his schedule.
Musical theater is the only thing he might love more than fitness. He’s been in over 15 musical productions, and often listens to musicals while working out, studying, and working.
He served a two year religious mission when he was 19 years old, where he cultured a deep love for theology and philosophy.
He is missing two digits from his left ring and pinky fingers due to a factory accident involving a hydraulic cutting press.
